How to get started
Getting connected takes less than two minutes. Follow the trail — each step builds on the last.
OAuth 2.0
Your Simpro password is never shared with TradesQuote. All credentials are encrypted and stored securely.

Go to Connections
From your TradesQuote dashboard, navigate to Settings → Connections.

Enter your Simpro Build Name
This is the subdomain of your Simpro account (e.g.
yourcompanyfromyourcompany.simprosuite.com). -
Click Connect Simpro
You will be redirected to Simpro to log in and authorise the integration.

Authorise access
Log in with your Simpro credentials and approve the connection. You will be returned to TradesQuote automatically.

Upload your first estimate
Open any estimate, click Upload to Simpro, and your Quote will appear in Simpro instantly.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Simpro account to use this integration?
Yes. You need an active Simpro subscription and admin credentials to authorise the connection. If you do not have a Simpro account, visit simprogroup.com to get started.
Is my Simpro password shared with TradesQuote?
No. The integration uses OAuth 2.0, the same secure standard used by Google and Microsoft sign-ins. TradesQuote never sees or stores your Simpro password. You log in directly on the Simpro website and grant permission from there.
What data is sent to Simpro?
Only your estimate data is pushed — the job description, line item descriptions, quantities, and unit prices. No personal user data or financial account information is transmitted.
Does data flow back from Simpro into TradesQuote?
Not at this stage. The integration is one-way: TradesQuote pushes estimates into Simpro as Quotes. Future versions may include status sync from Simpro back to TradesQuote.
What happens if I update an estimate after uploading it?
You can re-upload the estimate at any time using the Re-upload to Simpro button. This creates a new Quote in Simpro — it does not overwrite the previously created Quote.
What Simpro plan do I need?
The integration works with Simpro's standard API, available on business plans. Check with your Simpro account manager if you are unsure whether your plan includes API access.
What if the connection drops or the token expires?
TradesQuote automatically refreshes the connection in the background before tokens expire. In the rare case where a refresh fails (e.g. your Simpro credentials were changed), you will be prompted to reconnect from the Connections page.
Can multiple team members use the integration?
Yes. Once connected by an account owner, any team member can upload estimates to Simpro. Only the account owner can connect or disconnect the integration.
Is there a limit to how many estimates I can upload?
TradesQuote does not impose a limit. Simpro's own API rate limits may apply depending on your Simpro plan.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
For TradesQuote-related issues, contact our support team through the TradesQuote app. For Simpro-related issues (e.g. Quotes not appearing as expected), contact Simpro support directly.
